On March 5, 2025, in Ho Chi Minh City, Chào Show Arts Program is honored to present its first performance.

Chào Show was created with the passion and goal to bring to HCMC and Vietnam another distinctive cultural hub, combining music, traditional cuisine, and modern sound and lighting technology.

The unique arts program Chào Show celebrates Vietnamese music through 30 unique ethnic instruments, arguably the most complete and unique collection of ethnic instruments currently available in the country, with the journey of collecting and recreating these instruments being a fascinating story in itself. With 12 musical pieces deeply influenced by folk music spirit, composed specifically for Chào Show by Trần Mạnh Hùng, one of Vietnam’s leading instrumental music composers, the program takes the audience on a journey exploring regions from North to South, enjoying the Vietnamese Identity through music.

Chào Show also proudly brings to viewers mesmerizing pictures and videos of Vietnam’s land and people, in a visual journey filled with magnificent, beautiful nature & friendly, hospitable Vietnamese people.

Another unique aspect of Chào Show is the spectacular combination of music, imagery, and 9 snack dishes from the distinctive cuisines of each region, allowing viewers to simultaneously hear, see, and taste unique delicacies from North, Central, and South Vietnam. The dishes are served with ethnic tableware specially designed for the program.

Chào Show’s stage is the first place in Vietnam to implement an Immersive Audio System, the latest sound technology available today. This technological solution allows listeners to experience 3D sound, and to enjoy the sound as if sitting in the center position regardless of where they are seated in the large auditorium.

Chào Show is a newly invested cultural venue with a cozy atmosphere where art is celebrated, a destination for foreign tourists as well as domestic Vietnamese who can come to enjoy THE VIETNAMESE CULTURAL STORY and Vietnamese Identity through music, imagery, and cuisine.

Vietnam has 54 ethnic groups and is culturally diverse. Each ethnic group has a unique spiritual and artistic life bearing the distinctive marks of its people and regional breath. Vietnam’s imprint on world music is still very young, but long-standing heritage values such as folk music are excellent material to introduce the unique identity of Vietnamese music to international friends.
