The piece you are about to hear is titled Waterfall Rainforest. True to its name, we want to place you right in the heart of an ancient forest, standing at the foot of a majestic waterfall where a pouring rain cascades down, roaring like the breath of the great wilderness.
I have been fortunate enough to stand amidst Vietnam’s endless forests many times. I got to witness, listen to, and feel that moment, one that is grand, intimidating, yet breathtakingly beautiful.
Deep in the forest, the weather changes in the blink of an eye. Just a minute ago, the sky was crystal clear. A few rare sunbeams still managed to weave their way through the dense leaves. Birds were chirping near and far, blending with countless nameless, curious sounds of the tangled woods.
Yet in the very next instant, everything turns dark. Heavy, dark clouds sweep in, draping over all creation an suffocating, tense atmosphere.
The waterfall suddenly takes on a haunting and treacherous aura. A strange, inexplicable sense of unease surges within us.
After all, any child standing before the magnitude of Mother Nature would feel a flutter of anticipation and a slight tremor of awe.
And then, the first raindrops fall, shattering into a hundred thousand pieces. Drop follows drop, stream intertwines with stream. The sound of the rain is like thousands of blades slicing through the sky, cutting through the ancient trees, crashing down on everything below.
The waterfall turns into a frothing white fury, roaring forward like a wild beast that has just broken free from its chains. The crash of the falls shrieks down to the lower reaches, then echoes back as an endless, thumping pulse within our chests.
“My goodness! How can it be so beautiful?” – I whispered to myself.
It is in that precise moment that you realize there is nothing to fear. All the previous dread and anxiety melt away. Nature is simply cleansing itself. After the rain, life blossoms anew.
Why hesitate or fear before a moment so magical and sublime?
Within the violent expanse of the heavens and the earth, life will inevitably return to the trees, the plants, and the creatures. And to the depths of every human heart.
I hope that as you relax and let yourself be carried away by the emotions of Waterfall Rainforest at the Chào Show, your soul will also be nourished and reborn, just as Mother Nature bestowed upon us on that unforgettable day.
